The iFi GO Blu Air, a new compact Bluetooth 5.2 Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) from iFi Audio, has arrived, priced at £129 / $129 / €149 / AU$229.

This small device, measuring just 5cm, boasts a sleek design and weighs a mere 30g. The iFi GO Blu Air is equipped with high-grade components such as TDK C0G and muRata multilayer capacitors, custom OV Series operational amplifiers with ultra-low distortion (0.0001%), and a Hi-Res Cirrus Logic MasterHiFi DAC with twin-mono amplification.

The iFi GO Blu Air is built around a triple-stage audio circuit, ensuring superior sound quality. It also features a detachable magnetic clip for easy attachment to clothes, belts, or bags, making it perfect for on-the-go use.

The Qualcomm QCC5144 chipset supports Bluetooth 5.2, enabling the iFi GO Blu Air to deliver Hi-Res Audio and low-latency codecs for an immersive listening experience. The device also includes a built-in MEMS microphone for voice calls and voice instructions to digital assistants.

The iFi GO Blu Air promises a battery life of 10 hours and offers both 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced outputs. It also features iFi's XBass and XSpace analogue sound enhancements, with dedicated hardware buttons for easy access.

Moreover, the iFi GO Blu Air utilises the same triple-stage Bluetooth as iFi's other products, ensuring wireless reception separation from the rest of the circuitry. The device also includes a tactile volume control with track navigation, allowing adjustments without needing the phone.
