Venture through the San Diego Zoo during the inaugural Pikmin Bloom MINI WALK event in North America, currently underway!
The San Diego Zoo is set to host a unique event, the Pikmin Bloom MINI WALK, from now until November 29th at the Wildlife Explorers Basecamp. This mini-event is a collaboration between Pikmin Bloom and the San Diego Zoo, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the popular mobile game and explore the zoo's wildlife and nature.
Participants can download the Pikmin Bloom app on their smartphones and join the mini-event by visiting the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Explorers Basecamp. Look for Pikmin Bloom signage or event staff to guide you through the designated path or area.
During the mini-event, users can interact with Special Spots set up at the event site to obtain Gold Seedlings for Decor Pikmin related to each spot. These virtual items can be collected once per day, per user.
While the game is free to start, data charges may apply while using it, and optional in-game purchases are available. It's important to note that persistent Internet and a compatible smartphone are required to play. Users should also stay aware of their surroundings while interacting with the game.
The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, a nonprofit conservation leader, reaches over 1 billion people annually through its two conservation parks and media channels in 150 countries. The Alliance supports innovative conservation science through global partnerships and groundbreaking efforts at the world-famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Over 44 endangered species have been reintroduced to native habitats through the Alliance's wildlife care expertise, cutting-edge science, and continued collaboration. Wildlife Allies-members, donors, and guests make success possible for the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.
It's worth noting that the event is subject to change or cancellation without notice due to weather conditions or other reasons. For the most up-to-date event dates, times, and participation instructions, check the official San Diego Zoo Wildlife Explorers Basecamp website or the Pikmin Bloom official channels.
This marks the first MINI WALK in the U.S. since the launch of the Pikmin Bloom app for smartphones. Through Nov. 24, weekend visitors can stop by the Pikmin pop-up tent outside the Spineless Marvels building to pick up a physical version of the map.
Pikmin Bloom, Pikmin, and related characters, artwork, music, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. The game contains mild fantasy violence.
