Quandri, a Canadian AI platform revolutionizing the insurance industry, has announced a significant funding round of $16 million, bringing its total capital raised since 2021 to over $27 million. The Series A round was led by Framework Venture Partners, with participation from Intact Ventures, FUSE, and Defined Capital.

Founded by brothers Jackson and Jamieson Fregeau in 2021, Quandri is based in Vancouver and focuses on automating servicing work for insurance brokerages and agencies. The company's rapid growth is attributed to its AI-driven solutions that streamline back-office operations and enhance client engagement through personalized renewal experiences.

With the fresh capital, Quandri plans to accelerate its go-to-market strategy, hire more than 40 people by the end of 2025, and expand its Vancouver headquarters to a new 15,000-square-foot office. The company is also opening a Boston office to better serve its growing U.S. customer base.

Quandri's expansion aims to scale across North America, enhancing its AI and engineering capabilities. Since its last funding round in 2023, the company has increased its revenue by 15 times, grown its client base to over 100 agencies and brokerages, and expanded its workforce fivefold to 75 full-time employees.

Notable clients include BrokerLink, Western Financial Group, HomeServices Insurance Inc., and BlueRidge Risk Partners. Quandri's clients now rely on the platform to automate policy reviews, streamline requoting, and proactively engage clients.

Quandri's Renewal Intelligence Platform automates back-office processes, identifies actionable policy insights, and delivers a streamlined renewal experience for clients. The funds will also be used to invest further in AI and engineering.

Ajay Gopal, Partner at Framework Venture Partners, stated that Quandri is solving a massive pain point in a legacy industry. The investment reflects the firm's confidence in Quandri's potential to transform the insurance sector.

Quandri was recently named one of LinkedIn's Top Canadian Startups and was also recognised as a Techcouver Startup to Watch in 2025. This recognition underscores the company's impact and potential for continued growth in the insurance industry.
