But it's not just a screen-based experience—Universal opts for a more tangible, unplugged approach to gaming, with real-world challenges and interactive features that invite guests to explore and collect points.
Power Up and Play
At the heart of the interactive experience is the Power Up Band. By wearing this wristband, you can activate touchpoints throughout the world to collect points, bananas, and coins, just like in the Donkey Kong Country games. And if you want to up the ante, spelling "KONG" by tapping different points is always an option.
Guests who rack up enough points can unlock exciting rewards, like hidden boss battles. Because let's face it, what's a video game land without a secret boss?
