Tesla Customizes Cloud Profiles Based on Vehicle Models: Personalized Settings Adjusted Accordingly
Tesla Introduces iCloud Profiles Feature for Personalised Driving Experience
Tesla owners are in for a treat with the latest software update from the electric vehicle manufacturer. The update, version 2022.24, rolled out on July 28, 2022, and brings a significant improvement to the user experience – the iCloud Profiles feature.
This innovative feature allows individualised settings based on vehicle model, ensuring a personalised driving experience across multiple Tesla vehicles. The feature was demonstrated by Tesla enthusiast, Burkland, who shared his experience with the new update.
In his Model Y, Burkland noticed an interesting quirk. An action that brings up the Camera app in his vehicle. He suggests that Tesla might be preparing for future advancements, such as its anticipated Robotaxi service.
Burkland also highlighted another intriguing feature in his Model S – the "Raise Suspension" function bound to the left scroll wheel. This adjustment, he hopes, is a sign of Tesla's commitment to refine these options and potentially expand the customization to settings like EQ adjustments.
The iCloud Profiles feature also extends to Burkland's "Scroll Wheel Function" settings, which are now synced on a per-vehicle model basis. This adjustment allows drivers to enjoy a more seamless experience across different Tesla models while maintaining specific settings for each vehicle.
With the iCloud Profiles feature, drivers can now switch cars and find their preferred settings automatically transferred. This update marks a significant step forward in Tesla's mission to provide a personalised and seamless driving experience for its customers.
