Tele2/Altel Transforms Network with AI & 5G for Better Services

Tele2/Altel is transforming its network with AI and G, aiming to provide better services and improve customer experience. The company's CEO, Alexander Babichev, shared that AI proactively fixes base station issues, enabling self-optimized networks. Meanwhile, Kcell's CEO, Askar Zhambakin, urged Kazakhstani G device users to switch to operators offering G services.

Tele2/Altel has signed several memorandums to advance its AI and G initiatives. It partnered with ZTE to deploy AI-native solutions and autonomous network technologies in Kazakhstan. Additionally, it collaborated with Huawei Kazakhstan for cloud solutions, Data Lake creation, and intelligent customer support services. The company also signed a deal with JSC 'NIT' to use Alem.cloud supercomputer cluster for developing AI solutions.

Looking ahead, Tele2/Altel plans to create a project with Yandex Qazaqstan using its mobile infrastructure and big data for training YandexGPT. These moves align with the company's goal, under Power International Holding's management, to transform its network into an intelligent platform using G and AI for sustainable growth and improved client experience.

Tele2/Altel's commitment to AI and G was evident at the Digital Bridge Forum, the largest event in digital technologies and AI in Central Asia. The forum brought together mobile communications leaders and regulators in Kazakhstan, highlighting the importance of these technologies for the country's digital future.
