Taurus Raging Judge Revolver Returns: Powerful, Versatile Self-Defense Option
The Taurus Raging Judge revolver, a powerful handgun, is back in production. First introduced in 2010, it was discontinued in 2019 but has recently made a comeback. Known for its versatility, it can fire various cartridges, making it a popular choice for self-defense.
The Raging Judge features a six-round cylinder and can operate in both single-action and double-action modes. Its 3-inch rifled barrel classifies it as a handgun, not a short-barreled shotgun. Weighing 61 ounces and measuring 10.2 inches overall, it's built for durability.
It can fire standard cowboy cartridges (.45 Long Colt), heavy-duty bear-buster cartridges (.454 Casull), or buckshot loads (.410 shotshells). This versatility makes it a top choice for various defense scenarios, as seen in its predecessor, the Taurus 4410 and 4510, which were renamed to the 'Judge' series. It comes with a matte stainless-steel finish, a rubber grip for better handling, and fiber-optic sights for improved accuracy.
The Taurus Raging Judge is now available at an MSRP of $1,337.99. Its re-introduction offers shooters a reliable, versatile, and powerful handgun option for self-defense and recreational use.
