Sustainability, ePaper, and AI Advancements Shape InfoComm 2025 Agenda; Focus on PPDS Highlighted
Get ready for InfoComm 2025! Before the Orange County Convention Center fills up with tech enthusiasts this June 7-13 in Orlando, we caught up with Nick Begleries, Commercial VP of PPDS, North America, to chat about trends, technology, inspiration, and exclusive sneak peeks of their InfoComm booth.
SCN: What's the main focus at InfoComm 2025?
Nick Begleries: InfoComm is our biggest annual event, and it's a great opportunity to showcase our latest solutions all in one place. We've got a packed schedule, with a strong focus on delivering value, innovation, and tailored experiences to a wider audience.
From AI-powered art displays to interactive business TVs, ePaper, and dvLED, or Philips Wave—name a technology, and we've got it. Some headline announcements include a new generation of ultra-flexible and durable Philips LED and digital signage displays, offering unparalleled creative flexibility and visual performance.
Sustainability is a big deal for us, and it will remain a major theme. We'll showcase the latest low-energy solutions as well as 'zero power' displays like the Philips Signage 3000 Series EcoDesign and the Philips Tableaux ePaper range.

SCN: What are the buzzwords for InfoComm 2025?
NB: They'll likely revolve around sustainability and AI, similar to ISE 2025 in Barcelona. Sustainability isn't just a buzzword; it represents a fundamental shift in our approach to business, encompassing everything from manufacturing to packaging, shipping, installation, and beyond.
AI, on the other hand, is turning up everywhere, so it's hard to ignore. But it's important to understand exactly where AI is being used and the value it provides before diving in.
SCN: How does InfoComm inspire you?
NB: Technology allows us to connect with people across the globe, but nothing compares to face-to-face meetings and networking. Despite virtual events, the experiences of InfoComm educating, inspiring, and being inspired are unparalleled.
InfoComm is where we collaborate with partners, customers, and industry experts, share knowledge, and showcase our latest innovations. It's all about helping businesses thrive, grow, and become the best versions of themselves.
SCN: Is ePaper on the verge of its breakthrough moment as a digital signage solution?
NB: Since launching the world's first advanced color ePaper display in 2023, we've seen growing interest in the technology. Though it's still evolving, it offers unmatched energy savings, with retail and food & beverage businesses leading the charge.
Size has been a question for many, but it's not a simple matter. We prioritize image quality and performance, so while larger displays are on the horizon, we won't sacrifice precision or visibility. Our biggest Philips Tableaux currently measures 32 inches, but we're pushing the technology to go even further.
