Solingen residents should expect to see camera vehicles from 'Cyclomedia Germany GmbH' in their city from October 13 to November 10, 2023. The company will capture 360-degree panoramic images and laser scan data for the city's administration.
The vehicles will record streets, pedestrian zones, and public facilities. The data will be used internally for visualization, measurement, and planning purposes. To respect privacy, faces and vehicle license plates in the images will be made unrecognizable.
