Solar energy giants Enexus and Akış Enerji team up for a fully synchronized, grid-compatible solar park in Dâmbovița County.
In a significant move for renewable energy in Romania, Enexus, a global renewable energy company, has partnered with Akış Enerji, a major player in Turkey's renewable energy sector, to develop the Titu 1 Project. This 20 MWp photovoltaic power plant, complete with a 20 MVA transformer station, is located in Titu, Dâmbovița County, and is currently in its "ready to build" (RTB) phase.
The Titu 1 Project, scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, is a testament to Enexus's commitment to expanding its footprint in renewable energy markets. With all necessary permits secured, completed technical studies, and a clear financing structure in place, the project is well on its way to becoming a reality.
Enexus will deliver the project turnkey through EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) services, ensuring a seamless transition from design to construction and grid connection. Post-commissioning, Enexus will provide full operation and maintenance (O&M) services to maintain high efficiency and ensure optimal performance.
The solar park, upon completion, is expected to generate annually between 24.5 and 28 GWh, contributing significantly to Romania’s renewable energy capacity and grid stability. This collaboration also marks the entry of Ulusoy Enerji Yatırımları as a major investor in Romanian solar energy, signalling a long-term partnership for future projects.
Enexus's services maximize returns for renewable energy investors through specialized teams and high-performance management. With a portfolio of over 600 MW built and connected globally, Enexus is well-equipped to deliver bankable, connection-ready projects, enabling investors to rapidly grow their capital in the renewable energy sector.
The Titu 1 Project is not Enexus's first foray into Europe. The company already has projects in Romania, Turkey, Italy, and Ukraine. This collaboration with Akış Enerji is a step towards Enexus's goal of becoming a global leader in renewable energy starting from 2025.
