Social Medical Insurance Fund Transforms with AI for Enhanced Monitoring
The Social Medical Insurance Fund is undergoing a significant transformation, adopting artificial intelligence technologies to enhance its monitoring system. This shift follows a recent survey by Horváth, which revealed a comprehensive restructuring in European retail companies, prioritising AI-based monitoring and reducing reliance on individual decisions.
The fund's transformation aims to create a 'digital barrier against subjectivity', minimising individual decision-making and collective irresponsibility. This involves automating business processes and implementing multi-level control for strict accountability. Over 45 independent AI algorithms have been developed and are currently being tested.
The fund is also focusing on increasing efficiency by minimising the risk of individual decisions at all levels. So far, 14 standards of medical care and 350 algorithms for detecting defects and violations have been processed using artificial intelligence. Full transparency is being ensured, particularly in the distribution of volumes and procurement of medical services.
The Social Medical Insurance Fund's transformation, driven by AI technologies, seeks to enhance monitoring, increase efficiency, and ensure transparency. By minimising individual decision-making and implementing strict accountability, the fund aims to provide better medical care and services.
