Sixfold's New AI Boosts P&C Underwriting Efficiency by 60x
Sixfold, a leading underwriting AI company, has enhanced its P&C platform with Referral Agent. This new feature aims to streamline the referral process, which often causes significant delays in underwriting, with up to 40% of applications requiring escalation.
Referral Agent works by ingesting referral guidelines, analyzing cases, and drafting ready-to-send emails. It can flag cases for referral and build a ready-to-send package in just one click. This process, which typically takes 60 minutes, is reduced to a mere one minute with Referral Agent.
The upgrade also includes Email Integration for automatic risk assessment and referral analysis. Allianz, Generali, and AXA have already utilized Sixfold's P&C platform to employ the referral-agent function, with more insurers expected to follow suit.
Referral Agent can go live in as little as four weeks with minimal IT effort. By automating the referral process, it promises to significantly improve underwriting efficiency and reduce the time spent on referrals.
