Signify Launches Philips LightTheatre in India for Immersive Home Entertainment
Signify, listed on Euronext as LIGHT, has introduced Philips LightTheatre in India. This innovative system transforms home entertainment into an immersive experience by synchronising lights with video and music in real-time. The launch coincides with a change in leadership, as As Tempelman takes over as CEO from Harsh Chitale, who will depart by the end of 2025.
Philips LightTheatre utilises Philips LightTheatre HDMI Sync Technology for precise, real-time syncing of lights with video and audio content. This technology, along with easy plug and play setup, multicolor gradient segments, WiZ app control, expandable ecosystem, and voice control integration, creates a holistic immersive experience.
The system works seamlessly with Philips gradient light bars, gradient floor light, and other Wi-Fi connected lights. C Arun Kumar, Head of Consumer Business - Signify, Greater India, praised the system, stating it transforms everyday viewing into an immersive, cinematic experience.
