Senegal Launches Force-N Sénégal: A Digital Education Initiative
Senegal has launched an ambitious initiative to bolster digital education nationwide. The Force-N Sénégal program, a collaboration between the UN-CHK, the Ministry of National Education, and the Mastercard Foundation, aims to distribute 5,000 computers to students in the S1 and S3 series across the country. This aligns with Senegal's long-term development plans, Vision Senegal 2050, and the New Technological Deal.
The program seeks to empower the next generation of Senegalese learners and integrate technology into the country's education system and economic future. A large-scale training program has been introduced to equip teachers and ministry staff with digital technology and artificial intelligence skills. While the director of the Force-N Senegal program is not publicly known, the initiative is supported by the government of Senegal through the Université Numérique Cheikh Hamidou Kane.
The Force-N Sénégal program is set to distribute 5,000 computers to students, aiming to strengthen digital education and prepare Senegal's youth for the future. The initiative, supported by the government and international partners, is a significant step towards achieving Senegal's long-term development goals.
