Puro.earth Unveils MyPuro 2.0 for Faster, Efficient Carbon Removal Certification
Puro.earth has unveiled MyPuro 2.0, an enhanced digital certification system for carbon dioxide removal (CDR) projects. The upgrade aims to streamline processes for developers while upholding Puro.earth's stringent certification standards.
MyPuro 2.0 introduces several improvements to reduce market friction. It features a more intuitive interface, guiding suppliers through certification processes step-by-step. The platform also integrates API connectivity and digital monitoring (dMRV) for real-time verification.
The migration to MyPuro 2.0 will occur over the coming months with no additional costs for existing suppliers. The new technical infrastructure is designed to integrate seamlessly with dMRV technologies and enable high-frequency issuance capabilities. This will allow for faster access to verified CO2 Removal Certificates (CORCs) for credit buyers.
Suppliers can now upload project documentation directly and monitor their project's review status in real-time. The upgrade also aims to reduce certification timelines and enhance data integrity, making the process more efficient for all parties involved.
Puro.earth's MyPuro 2.0 rollout covers its 360+ suppliers, strengthening the market's pipeline of durable CO2 removal credits. The upgrade is set to benefit both suppliers and credit buyers, providing a more streamlined and efficient process for carbon removal certification.
