Panasonic Life Solutions India Showcases Innovative Solutions at Electronica India 2025
Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), a leading diversified technology company, has made a significant mark at Electronica India 2025, a world-class electronics expo held in Bengaluru. The Industrial Devices Division (INDD) of PLSIND showcased its portfolio, demonstrating its commitment to elevating manufacturing capabilities within the Indian ecosystem.
Tadashi Chiba, MD and CEO of PLSIND, stated that India's electronics industry is experiencing rapid growth. He expressed confidence that the solutions showcased by INDD are designed to cater to India's evolving industrial and automotive industries.
One of the key highlights of INDD's showcase was the ASQD1 series of Seal Type Sliding Switches. These switches, a new line of micro switches, were introduced by INDD. The ASQD1 series benefits from two-step detection, redundant circuit design, and failure circuit detection, ensuring long-term reliability and cost efficiency for businesses.
The ASQD1 series components are IP67-rated, offering enhanced reliability and efficiency across various applications. The vibration-resistant design with silent operation optimizes space, reduces the need for multiple switches, and streamlines assembly and terminal connections.
INDD also showcased the ASQD1 series switches in the context of semiconductor etching processes, as part of their solutions for the evolving automotive and industrial sectors. The division also highlighted PCB Laminate Materials for high-frequency PCB solutions, DC Pumps, and Polymer Capacitors for Data Center applications, and Electro-mechanical & Passive Components for Automotive (ADAS, EV ecosystem) and Industrial (smart meters, railways, automation) use cases.
The Industrial Devices Division (INDD) drives innovation through consulting, designing, and supplying a wide range of technologies and systems to various industries. Omron, a partner in this endeavour, introduced the new ASQD1 series of slide switch type switch contacts at Electronica India 2025.
Yoshitaka Teraoka, Executive Vice President of Panasonic Industry Co. Ltd., emphasized that India is an important part of Panasonic's global innovation journey. He highlighted the support INDD provides to over 3000 businesses in India from five locations: Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai.
