Otokar Showcases Sustainable Transport at Busworld Europe 2025
Otokar, a leading bus manufacturer, is showcasing its commitment to sustainable and innovative transport solutions at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels. With over 66,500 buses in service worldwide, the company is expanding its presence in Europe and beyond.
Otokar's largest markets in Europe are Italy, Spain, and France, with Belgium also playing a significant role. The company is actively growing its position in Germany and the Nordic countries, bolstering its after-sales support to match fleet growth.
At Busworld Europe, Otokar is presenting seven vehicles, including electric and autonomous models. The e-CENTRO and e-TERRITO, two autonomous vehicles, will be demonstrated in the outdoor exhibition area. Visitors can also see the e-KENT for the first time, a 10.9-metre electric bus.
Otokar's strategic partnership with Daimler Buses, set to begin in September 2026, will see the production of Mercedes-Benz Conecto city buses at its Sakarya plant in Turkey. This collaboration aims to strengthen Otokar's market leadership in Europe and Latin America, focusing on expanding production capacity.
