Another key aspect is the improvement in safety and trust. GPT-5 reduces "sycophantic" or over-agreeable responses by over 50%, lowers hallucination rates substantially, and provides safer, more reliable output than GPT-4 variants.
Microsoft is one of the companies cooperating with OpenAI and plans to integrate GPT-5 into its products. The model was trained on Microsoft's cloud platform, Azure. Other tech giants, such as Google and Meta, are also racing to lead the AI future.
