In a recent announcement, the BMW G 310 RR has seen a reduction in its price, making it more competitive in the market. This change comes as the KTM RC 390, one of its rivals, has become more expensive due to its larger engine capacity under the new GST rule.

The BMW G 310 RR is equipped with a 312 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 34 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm. The motorcycle is paired with a six-speed transmission and features hardware such as upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends.

One of the key highlights of the BMW G 310 RR is its advanced technology. It comes with ride-by-wire technology, multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, an all-LED lighting setup, and a TFT instrument cluster. These features are designed to offer a smooth and safe riding experience.

The engine used in the BMW G 310 RR is manufactured by TVS Motor Company, an Indian motorcycle manufacturer that is collaborating with BMW Motorrad. This collaboration allows for the production of high-quality engines while keeping costs competitive.

The price reduction for the BMW G 310 RR may benefit both the buyer and the bikemaker. For buyers, it means a more affordable option in the market for a motorcycle that offers advanced technology and a powerful engine. For the bikemaker, it could mean increased sales and a stronger presence in the competitive motorcycle market.

It is important to note that while the BMW G 310 RR does produce a significant amount of power, it does not match the output of the BMW S 1000 R, which produces 172 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. However, the reduced price and advanced features of the BMW G 310 RR make it a compelling option for many motorcycle enthusiasts.

In summary, the price reduction of the BMW G 310 RR has made it a more attractive option for buyers in the market. With its advanced technology, powerful engine, and competitive price, the BMW G 310 RR is now more favourably positioned against other bikes, including its rival, the KTM RC 390.
