To start a stopwatch or set an alarm, simply wind the hand counterclockwise, depending on the number of full rotations.
A Raspberry Pi PicoRuntime manages the device, running MicroPython firmware while pulling current time from the local network. The light's quality is softened by pointing the LED rings backwards to reflect off a recessed surface. The device is USB-C powered and housed within a 3D-printed casing.
