Mizu Marine Moves Futuro's Final Assembly to Germany for Faster, Higher Quality Boats

Mizu Marine, a German family business renowned for its innovative spirit, has revealed a strategic shift for its subsidiary Futuro. The move aims to boost quality, customer service, and logistics efficiency for the DACH market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

Mizu's decision to relocate final assembly to Germany will bring several benefits to local customers. Firstly, it will cut delivery times, allowing for quicker access to Futuro's aluminum boats. Secondly, local assembly ensures higher product quality through meticulous attention to detail. Lastly, enhanced customer service will be provided through easier access to support and warranty services.

The first all-electric model from Futuro, the ZX 20 E, will soon hit the market. This compact yet versatile boat combines sleek design, sustainability, and functionality, marking a significant step towards greener water transport.

The final assembly in Germany will not only enhance quality but also enable quicker reactions to customer requests and customized configurations. Mizu recently showcased its innovative electric motor catamaran, the Twiel, at boot Düsseldorf, demonstrating its commitment to forward-looking technologies.

Despite the relocation, Poland remains a key partner for Futuro's production. The hulls of Futuro boats will continue to be welded in Poland, leveraging the company's extensive experience in aluminum construction. This combination of Polish hull production and German assembly offers customers the best of both worlds: long-established aluminum expertise paired with precision finishing and a high degree of customization.

Mizu will serve as the exclusive distributor for Futuro in the DACH region, providing personal consultation, test drives, and comprehensive service.

Mizu's strategic decision to move Futuro's final assembly to Germany promises improved quality, customer proximity, and logistics efficiency for the DACH market. With the upcoming launch of the all-electric ZX 20 E and continued Polish hull production, Futuro boats are set to become even more appealing to environmentally conscious customers seeking high-quality, customizable watercraft.
