Mitsubishi's New Electric SUV, Eclipse Cross BEV, Coming to Europe in 2025

Mitsubishi Motors is set to introduce the all-new Eclipse Cross BEV, an electric SUV, in Europe before the end of 2025. The compact, affordable model will be produced at Renault's ElectriCity Douai Plant in France.

The Eclipse Cross BEV is built on the CMF-EV platform and will offer a range of impressive features. It delivers 160 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque, ensuring a smooth and responsive drive. The SUV also comes with a one-pedal driving function and selectable regenerative braking, providing drivers with greater control.

The interior is designed for comfort and personalisation. It features customizable ambient lighting in 48 colours and a panoramic electrochromic glass roof. The SUV also comes with Google built-in features and advanced safety systems, ensuring a connected and secure driving experience.

The Eclipse Cross BEV is equipped with an 87 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated 600 km (WLTP) range. It supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW, allowing for quick and convenient charging on the go.

The Eclipse Cross BEV is scheduled for release in 2026 as a more affordable, medium-range option. Its production at Renault's ElectriCity Douai Plant in France is part of an OEM agreement within the Renault Group and the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. With its impressive features and affordability, the Eclipse Cross BEV is set to make a significant impact in the electric SUV market.
