The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as Mazda prepares to potentially unveil a wagon version of its latest electric offering, the Mazda6e.

The Mazda6e boasts two model options, each offering impressive capabilities. The smaller model, storing approximately 69 kWh, boasts an official range of 479 km. On the other hand, the larger model, with a capacity of 80 kWh, promises an extended range of 552 km.

Charging the Mazda6e is a breeze, with both models capable of handling up to eleven kW of alternating current. However, the larger model can only be charged with a maximum of 90 kW of direct current, while the smaller model can be charged with up to 165 kW of direct current.

One of the standout features of the Mazda6e is its electric motor, which drives only the rear wheels. This setup promises an exhilarating drive, as the Mazda6e goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. The electric motor's power output varies depending on the model size, with the larger model-equipped models offering 190 kW (258 PS) and the smaller model models offering 180 kW (245 PS).

Despite extensive online searches, there is currently no information available regarding who made the decision to develop a Mazda6e station wagon.

Interestingly, the sibling model of the Chinese Deepal SL03 offers two model variants as well, suggesting a potential connection between the two models.

As we eagerly await more information about the Mazda6e, it's clear that Mazda is pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle design and performance. With its promising specifications and intriguing potential as a wagon, the Mazda6e is undoubtedly a model to watch.
