Marsh Appoints Tony Ambrose and Brian Glod to Lead Aviation and Space Division
Marsh, a leading global insurance broker, has announced significant changes in its Aviation and Space division. Effective 1 September, Tony Ambrose has been appointed as global chairman, while Brian Glod takes the role of global head. Both bring extensive experience to their new positions.
Tony Ambrose, with over three decades in the global aviation insurance market, joins the global specialty executive committee. He will report to both Brian Glod and Dominic Samengo-Turner, CEO of Marsh Specialty in the UK. Ambrose succeeds Patton Kline as regional leader for the US, who will now report to Michael Pellegrini, Marsh Specialty leader for the US and Canada, and Brian Glod.
Brian Glod, with over 35 years at Marsh, will drive the global strategy for aviation and space insurance offerings alongside Ambrose. He will also be part of the global specialty executive committee, reporting to Andrew George, president of Marsh Specialty. Prior to this, Glod served as regional aviation and space practice leader for the US, a role now taken by Kline.
Marsh's recent appointments aim to strengthen its Aviation and Space division's global leadership. With Ambrose and Glod at the helm, the company expects to build on its expertise and expand its offerings in the aviation and space insurance market.
