Maieutic Semiconductor, a Bengaluru-based startup, has secured $4.15 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners, with participation from Exfinity as an active investor in deep-tech and semiconductor startups. The funding will support Maieutic's ambitious plans to revolutionize chip design using generative AI.

Founded by industry veterans including Gireesh Rajendran (CEO), Ashish Lachhwani (CBO), Rakesh Kumar (CPO), and Krishna Sankar (CTO), Maieutic aims to accelerate early-stage chip design and enable intelligent analysis of design trade-offs. The startup's GenAI-first platform seeks to transform the semiconductor industry by applying generative AI in its workflows.

Investors have recognized the potential in Maieutic's approach. Chinnu Senthilkumar from Exfinity Venture Partners praised the complexity of the problem Maieutic is addressing and their bold application of generative AI. Similarly, Sateesh Andra from Endiya Partners believes that Maieutic's AI-first approach has the potential to change semiconductor design. The funding will be used to expand Maieutic's engineering team and improve time to market.
