Live broadcast of the U.S. Men's National Team match supported by Professional Wireless Systems (PWS)
In a collaborative effort, Professional Wireless Systems (PWS) recently provided wireless audio solutions for the friendly match between the U.S. Men's National Team and Türkiye, held at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT on July 24, 2025. The event was broadcast live by TNT, which is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery Sports.
The U.S. Soccer Federation, Power Station Events, and PWS worked together to ensure a successful production. Jim Van Winkle, General Manager of Professional Wireless Systems, led the on-site team, which included Joshua Lampf and Chris Budin from PWS, as well as a seasoned A1 engineer familiar with live sporting events.
To meet the demands of the complex production space, PWS deployed a comms system equipped with 15 Riedel Bolero beltpacks and 8 antennas. The system also included accessories and Clear-Com headsets, providing crystal-clear communication across production zones.
