Lhyfe Expands Green Hydrogen Reach to Netherlands with 470+ Deliveries
Lhyfe, a French company specialising in green hydrogen production, has been operating for over four years. It has recently expanded its reach by supplying green hydrogen to the Netherlands, a key market for its commercial activities.
Lhyfe's growth is evident in its production and delivery figures. In 2024 alone, it conducted over 470 hydrogen deliveries. The company has a fleet of around 70 containers dedicated to hydrogen logistics, facilitating this increased activity.
The GROHW project, which tests hydrogen heating systems, is one of Lhyfe's notable initiatives in the Netherlands. Lhyfe supplies green hydrogen for this project to Dutch energy supplier Essent. The project, based in Deventer, involves partners such as Nefit Bosch, Firan, Witteveen+Bos, and Essent. Manufacturer Nefit Bosch plans to launch H2-ready combi boilers by 2029, indicating a future focus on hydrogen-powered heating.
Lhyfe's expansion includes a 200 MW project at the Chemical Park Delfzijl near Groningen, announced in 2022. The company operates four production sites in France and Germany, demonstrating its commitment to green hydrogen production and distribution.
Lhyfe's growth in the green hydrogen sector is marked by its expansion into the Netherlands, a priority market. With over 470 deliveries in 2024 and a fleet of 70 containers, the company is well-equipped to meet growing demand. Its involvement in projects like GROHW and plans for the Chemical Park Delfzijl indicate a promising future for Lhyfe in the hydrogen industry.
