Kenyan Firm Unveils Revolutionary BolySolar at Intersolar Europe
A Kenyan company, Rational Intuitive Limited, has developed a revolutionary solar system solution, BolySolar. This innovative technology promises to slash solar system costs by over 50% and replace more than 90% of current PV modules and mirrors. The first prototype of BolySolar Concentrators will be showcased at Intersolar Europe.
BolySolar Concentrators, the brainchild of Rational Intuitive Limited, use a reflective Fresnel lens to focus light. This method results in almost no light pollution, making it ideal for street lighting. The system can achieve an efficiency of at least 40% with the most efficient PV modules, and when combined with a heat energy system, it can reach over 60%. This innovation increases the utilization of current solar systems by 300 to 400%.
BolySolar is set to be an affordable solution, making solar energy more accessible. The first prototype, BolySolar Post, will be unveiled at Intersolar Europe, where Bolymedia will be present at booth A1.220G.
