Jaguar Land Rover Aims for 2039 Sustainability with Ambitious Logistics Plan

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is advancing with its Reimagine Strategy, targeting significant progress in sustainability by 2039. The carmaker's logistics head, Levent Yuksel, has outlined ambitious yet achievable global goals and stressed the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to reach these targets.

Yuksel, speaking at the ALSC Europe 2024 conference in Bonn, Germany, emphasized the need for logistics providers, suppliers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to work together to tackle emissions and improve sustainability across the automotive supply chain. He highlighted the critical role of partnerships in identifying and addressing gaps in green logistics.

To support this transformation, Yuksel has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This collaboration involves managing and transforming JLR's digital and IT estate, which is a key aspect of the broader strategic business transformation towards carbon net zero by 2039.

Yuksel's vision for JLR's freight operations is clear: ambitious yet achievable smart goals by 2039, driven by collaboration and strategic partnerships. The carmaker is committed to reducing its environmental impact, and with the support of TCS and other stakeholders, it is well on its way to achieving this global goal.
