💥 ** Fresh Take 💥**
🌐 Evolution Welcomes Jacob Claesson as North American CEO 🌐
Brace yourself, folks! Evolution, the global pioneer in product innovation and cutting-edge IT solutions for live casino streaming, has brought in Jacob Claesson as the captain of their North American ship. Claesson's journey begins at the helm, stepping up from his previous gig as the US head of operations at Evolution.
Six Years and Still Counting
In a flurry of excitement, Claesson shared his glee and optimism about his new role via Twitter and LinkedIn. He noted the vast opportunities ahead for a company that is merely a toddler in North America but is rapidly making waves. Claesson will be reporting directly to Martin Carlesund, the global chief executive officer.
The man of the hour has been a loyal Evolutioneer for almost six years! His love affair with the company, which is listed on Nasdaq Nordic and caters to the needs of millions of international users while processing transactions worth thousands of US Dollars each second, began in February 2016. He started as an efficiency & implementation manager/key account manager, a role he swapped for the post of head of integration and delivery for the following two and a half years. His mission during this period was to monitor Evolution's delivery organization consisting of project management, technical operations, and integration teams in Latvia and Malta.
Next, Claesson moved on to become Evolution's head of operations in Georgia, where he supervised their Tbilisi studio, prepared all operations, and expanded the studio's employee count to almost 6,000 employees, making it one of the country's largest employers. His North American adventure ensued as head of operations, overseeing operational elements of the company's broadcasting studios in both the USA and Canada while expanding their game portfolio.
Past Achievements
Before climbing aboard the Evolution Express, Claesson also spent over a decade working for Klarna and Movistic. Klarna, a Stockholm-based company with over 450,000 global retail partners, aims to be the preferred shopping method and offers flexible healthy financial services to consumers. Claesson spent more than four years as an acting manager for the implementation team, enterprise implementation manager, and manager for technical sales, coordination, and international. He also worked for Movestic Life & Pension, a company that specializes in personalized savings and insurance protection for individuals and companies, for almost six and a half years, where he was an insurance administrator and an office manager.
Keep your eyes peeled for more talent joining the Evolution ranks, as they have over 13,000 Evolutioneers working in sites across five continents and are always on the hunt for high-performing team players! In June this year, Evolution put forward an offer for €200 million ($210 million) to buy Nolimit City. 🔥🎲🔥
