Starting June 12, 2025, iWANT, a popular platform for Filipino content, is introducing a new viewing experience on smart TVs. This redesign aims to provide a sleeker, more intuitive, and mood-responsive streaming experience, combining a rich selection of local content with user-friendly navigation and useful features.
The redesigned platform boasts a brand new user interface that is visually cleaner and easier to navigate, promising a smoother streaming experience. The homepage now includes content rows organized by moods such as *kilig* (romantic excitement), *gigil* (intense emotion), or *senti* (sentimental), helping viewers quickly find shows matching their current feelings.
The layout has been simplified, allowing users to more easily access their favorite shows and currently trending content without clutter. Navigation within series episodes has also been improved, making binge-watching more seamless. Features like 'Continue Watching' and 'Add to Watchlist' allow viewers to easily pick up where they left off and save titles to watch later, enhancing usability on smart TVs.
iWANT offers over 1,000 Filipino titles and live channels, supporting multiple languages including Tagalog, English, and regional dialects, catering well to a diverse local audience. The platform maintains a dual-tier subscription model, with a monthly fee of ₱59 for an ad-supported service and ₱119 for an ad-free experience.
While these enhancements improve user experience, some users have reported bugs such as episodes not refreshing automatically and occasional issues with recognizing paid subscriptions. This indicates ongoing work to polish the platform and ensure a smooth user experience for all.
