Dying Light: The Beast, released on September 18, 2025, introduces exciting co-op gameplay for up to four players. Here's a breakdown of the key features and mechanics involved in the multiplayer mode.

To invite friends to join your Dying Light: The Beast co-op session, navigate to the main menu by hitting the ESC key, then select "Co-Op" from the options. From there, you'll find the Party section where you can click on the empty slots to invite friends from your Steam or Epic friends list.

Once in a co-op session, the "Call for Help" feature becomes available. This unique mechanic allows players to summon friends to their current location. However, it's important to note that the "Call for Help" feature is not a substitute for the invitation process and does not automatically drop in fellow Kyles like regular invitations do.

The "Call for Help" feature is only accessible within a Dying Light: The Beast co-op session and does not affect the campaign progression shared among all players. This means that every player, regardless of whether they were summoned or invited, will progress through the game together, with the same shared campaign experience.

It's worth mentioning that the "Call for Help" feature is not a requirement to unlock Dying Light: The Beast co-op campaigns. In fact, completion of the second mission, Safe Haven, is required before you can access these co-op campaigns.

Interestingly, Dying Light: The Beast does not support crossplay or a cross-platform party system. This means that players can only join co-op sessions with friends who are also using the same platform (Steam or Epic).

Lastly, in Dying Light: The Beast, all players take on the role of protagonist Kyle Crane. So, gather your fellow Kyles and embark on an exciting co-op adventure in the post-apocalyptic world of Harran!
