Scorpion Releases 2025 Law Firm Search Trends Report

In a bid to stay ahead of digital marketing trends in the legal and home services industries, Scorpion, a leading provider of digital marketing and technology solutions, has unveiled its 2025 Law Firm Search Trends Report. The report, based on responses from 3,000 U.S. consumers, offers valuable insights into the evolving expectations of clients in the digital age.

Launched in partnership with independent market research firm Dynata earlier this year, the latest edition of the study, titled "2025 Law Firm Search Trends," sheds light on the changing landscape of client expectations. According to Jamie Adams, Chief Revenue Officer at Scorpion, "Referrals are important, but google search results, reviews, and client experience are what close the deal."

The report reveals that over half of consumers won't hire a law firm that lacks online chat, and over half refuse to consider a law firm with less than four stars. A difficult-to-use website or slow follow-up may lead clients to assume the rest of the experience will be similarly problematic. In fact, 72% of potential clients will move on if they don't hear back within 24 hours.

The intake experience is now considered as part of the overall legal expertise by clients, according to Jamie Adams. This is reflected in the findings, with 61% of consumers open to their lawyer using AI tools to improve speed or communication, as long as the human relationship stays intact. However, 49% of consumers say neglected google trends is a red flag, particularly among Gen X and older demographics.

Scorpion's solutions are backed by award-winning AI and over 20 years of marketing expertise. The company, known for its RevenueMAX digital marketing solutions, is pushing the industry forward by focusing on revenue growth rather than just leads. As Jamie Adams puts it, "Law firms must now operate like modern service providers, being easy to find, fast to respond, and digitally trustworthy."

Meanwhile, Yext, the company that launched the "Consumer Search Trends" initiative in 2023, has been studying digital marketing trends in the legal and home services sectors. The company's report on consumer search trends in 2023 highlighted the importance of being easily discoverable online and providing a seamless digital experience.
