Hyvia Joins Hyvolution Exhibition and Energy Observer Village: A Full Dedication to the Hydrogen Energy System
In the heart of France, the HYVIA plant in Flins is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. The company is ramping up its fuel cell assembly line, constructing an electrolyzer, and installing a new assembly line for H2 refueling stations. This expansion is set to commence in 2023, with a production capacity of 1,000 fuel cells per year.
This accelerated development is not limited to the plant alone. HYVIA is also showcasing its commitment to hydrogen mobility at the 'On top of positive energies' event in Morzine-Avoriaz, France, from February 4th. The event serves as a platform for the company to demonstrate its turnkey hydrogen refueling station solutions, which can be deployed at customer sites.
The Renault Master City Bus H2-TECH hydrogen minibus is one such solution, boasting a range of 300 km and a refueling time of just 5 minutes. It can carry up to 15 passengers, making it an ideal choice for public transportation. Another vehicle on display is the hydrogen-powered Renault Master Van H2-TECH, with a range exceeding 400 km (WLTC cycle) and a refueling time of 5 minutes.
In collaboration with the Energy Observer Foundation, HYVIA is working to raise awareness about hydrogen mobility issues among various stakeholders, including companies, elected officials, local authorities, students, schoolchildren, and the media. The Energy Observer Foundation's exhibition village, dedicated to sustainable energy and hydrogen, is a temporary structure located at the entrance to the resort of Avoriaz, open to the public from February 4 to 24.
HYVIA's expansion and exhibitions are not just about showcasing their solutions. The company is also focusing on strengthening the anchoring of its hydrogen ecosystem within the sector: production, distribution, and H2 mobility. To this end, a 1 MW electrolyzer is being installed in HYVIA's plant and will be operational by mid-2023, producing 430 kg of low-carbon hydrogen per day.
Moreover, HYVIA is offering hydrogen sourcing solutions for single vehicles or large fleets, providing both green and low-carbon hydrogen. The company is also developing a financing offer with NEoT Green Mobility for customized hydrogen mobility solutions.
As part of the 'Important Project of Common European Interest - Hy2Tech', HYVIA, alongside Renault Group, Faurecia, Air Liquide, and EDF, is deploying its complete hydrogen mobility ecosystem in 2023, which includes a range of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles. The Hyvolution Exhibition, a major event for hydrogen players in Europe, is taking place from February 1ST to 2ND, 2023, in Paris, Porte de Versailles, France (stand 6D64).
HYVIA is also participating in the 'Campus Emploi Formation' organized during the event to continue its talent recruitment efforts. The company offers solutions to analyze and optimize the use of hydrogen vehicles, reducing operating costs.
In summary, HYVIA's expansion and participation in various events underscore its commitment to advancing hydrogen mobility. With its focus on production, distribution, and the development of hydrogen-powered vehicles, HYVIA is poised to play a significant role in the future of sustainable transportation.
