HPE Partner Program Insight: A Comprehensive Overview
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a new partnership strategy aimed at enhancing enterprise efficiency and productivity in AI-driven hybrid environments. The strategy, unveiled in June 2025, focuses on integrating AI capabilities into hybrid cloud infrastructure, empowering partners with enhanced tools, and leveraging strategic alliances and acquisitions.
The unified partner program brings together 11 partner programs across all business sectors and models, aiming to strengthen partners’ capabilities globally. This includes expanding practices in 30 countries and enhancing professional services. The program prioritizes edge computing, infrastructure transformation, generative AI, and sovereign cloud, with partners anticipated to capitalize on a $159 billion generative AI channel opportunity by 2028.
HPE has introduced new enablement modules such as AI factories, enterprise workload management, agentic AI, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG). Partners can benefit from preferential pricing on the HPE Private Cloud AI developer kit and tools like HPE CloudPhysics Plus for virtualization assessment and the HPE Rapid Migration Tool for VM migrations.
A strategic alliance with NVIDIA advances AI outcomes through co-developed solutions like the Private Cloud for AI, a turnkey AI platform combining HPE’s sustainable infrastructure with NVIDIA’s software stack. The partnership supports the full AI lifecycle with NVIDIA AI Enterprise integration, accelerating compute, and storage SDKs to cater to enterprises' diverse needs, including sovereign entities.
Following its $13.4 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks, HPE strengthened its AI-driven networking approach. This was further endorsed by a cooperation pact involving activist investor Elliott Management, signaling stability and partnership confidence in this domain.
At HPE Discover 2025, the company emphasized intelligent automation and secure hybrid cloud as critical to their vision. Partners can benefit from innovations like HPE Synergy Composer 2, GenAI integration, and advanced virtualization strategies.
The new partner program includes HPE Partner Ready for traditional channel and HPE Partner Ready for Networking. Each center of expertise has a set of enablement, training, and sales tools, including marketing initiatives, communities, and certifications. HPE offers further benefits, rewards, and incentives such as demand-gen campaigns, social media, and marketing tools.
HPE provides regional support, onboarding video, and a downloadable guide detailing specific instructions for partner registration. The company, headquartered in Texas, reported $30.1 billion in revenues for its year ending 31 October 2024, with about 62,000 employees, according to Statista.
In Q4 2024, server revenues year-on-year rose 32% to $4.7 billion. Server products, server services, Intelligent Edge connectivity, and hybrid cloud categories drove the lion's share of HPE revenues last year. About 90,000 partners, including World Wide Technology (WWT), TD Synnex, Computacenter, Wipro, and Alphatec Solutions, drive 60-70% of HPE revenues.
HPE was created in 2015 by then-CEO Meg Whitman, splitting enterprise products and services out from the printers and PCs of HP founded in 1939. Technical certifications now only need a three-year renewal.
