HBK, VI-grade & MoBeLIV Team Up to Revolutionize EV Powertrain Validation

Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer (HBK) and its affiliate VI-grade have joined forces with MoBeLIV to enhance electric vehicle (EV) powertrain validation. The collaboration combines HBK's test solutions with MoBeLIV's simulation capabilities, offering faster and more effective validation processes.

The partnership, which includes VI-grade as part of HBK's Virtual Test Division, integrates MoBeLIV's real-time electric motor models with VI-CarRealTime. This integration promises higher fidelity and increased confidence in electrified powertrain development, as noted by Alessio Lombardi, Head of EMEA and NA Sales at VI-grade.

Mitchell Marks, Director of Automotive Strategy and Business Development at HBK, sees this collaboration as a bridge between simulation and measurement, effectively closing the gap between these two crucial aspects of EV development.

HBK, VI-grade, and MoBeLIV have united to revolutionize EV powertrain validation. By combining test solutions and simulation capabilities, they aim to accelerate and improve the validation process, driving forward the development of electrified vehicles.
