Hacker Group Radiant Leaks 8,000 Children's Data, Threatens More

Hacker group Radiant has struck again, this time targeting UK nursery chain Kido. The group, believed to be based outside Europe, has leaked personal data of over 8,000 children and their families, and is threatening more data dumps unless paid.

Radiant gained access to Kido's systems and leaked details of 10 children, including accident and safeguarding reports, and billing information. The group claims to hold data on over 8,000 children and their families, with a 'data leakage roadmap' planning further releases if demands are not met. Some parents have received threatening calls directly from the criminals.

Kido confirmed the breach and is cooperating with authorities. However, Famly, the platform used to share updates with families, has stated there was no breach of their security or infrastructure. Kido has since informed parents that the breach occurred through Famly.

Radiant, a new entrant in cybercrime circles, has caused alarm with its targeting of children's data. The group's threats and data leaks have raised serious concerns, and authorities are working to address the situation. Parents are advised to remain vigilant and monitor their children's online activity.
