Google Unveils Teaser for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in Moonstone Color
Google has released a teaser video for its upcoming Pixel 10 series, which includes the highly anticipated Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The device will be available in a new color option, Moonstone, offering a premium foldable experience.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold boasts a sleek design with a 6.4-inch outer AMOLED display and an impressive 8.0-inch inner foldable AMOLED display. The device is powered by the latest Google Tensor G5 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 storage options up to 1TB. It also features a 5015 mAh battery and supports 30W charging, ensuring long-lasting performance.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold's triple camera setup offers advanced AI imaging capabilities, and it includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 5x zoom 10.8-megapixel camera. The selfie camera is located at the top right corner of the inner display, and it is expected to be 10MP.
The device also features wireless charging, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 for durability. The front display reaches 3000 nits brightness for better visibility in bright environments. The new gearless high-strength hinge, similar to the one seen in the 9 Pro Fold, is built for 10+ years of folding.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is set to start at $1799 and is targeted towards multitasking and entertainment, offering a tablet-like experience in a sleek foldable form factor. In the teaser video, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's design, as well as the hinge, were showcased. However, the video did not provide specific details beyond these visuals. The bezels seem to be the same as those of the 9 series version, and the video hinted at potential features that are still "coming soon."
Google has posted a YouTube video teasing the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and a second teaser video for the Pixel 10 series was released by Google last Monday. The teaser video did not mention any new colors for the Pixel 10 series phones beyond "Moonstone."
