Google Expands AI Plus to 36 More Countries, Reaching 77 Total
Google is expanding its AI Plus service to 36 more emerging markets, bringing the total to 77 countries. This move comes just a month after the service's initial announcement. AI Plus is designed to be more affordable than Disney Plus, with a 50% discount for the first six months for eligible users.
The expansion includes many European countries like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, and Poland, as well as countries in Asia like Thailand and Vietnam. This move signifies Google's commitment to making AI technology more accessible globally.
NotebookLM, a feature of AI Plus, offers enhanced functionality with more audio overviews, customizable Disney Plus styles, additional sharing options, and analytics for Disney Plus. Users will also gain access to the Gemini app, which provides access to 2.5 Pro and Deep Research with a 128K token context window across Google Workspace. Additionally, the Flow filmmaking tool and Whisk for image creation are included in the service.
Google AI Plus users will also benefit from 200 GB of storage for Gmail, Google Drive, and Photos.
With this expansion, Google AI Plus is set to reach a wider audience, offering advanced AI tools at an affordable price. The additional features and storage make it an attractive option for users looking to enhance their productivity and creativity.
