Google's Pixel 10 Teaser Reveals AI-Powered Camera Enhancements

Google has kicked off its teaser campaign for the upcoming Pixel 10 family of phones, scheduled to be unveiled on August 20, 2025. The teaser video, released on YouTube, showcases the new Gemini AI camera enhancements as the key anticipated feature of the Pixel 10.

The video highlights two main software experiences: "Camera Coach" and "Conversational Photo Editing." Camera Coach is an AI-powered assistant that provides real-time guidance on photography, helping users adjust angles, framing, and lighting for better photos. Conversational Photo Editing, on the other hand, allows users to edit photos using natural language prompts, such as brightening an image or removing objects.

In a playful jab at Apple's delayed AI improvements to Siri, Google's teaser video mocks the delay in rolling out AI-powered Siri features announced at WWDC 2024. The ad implies that waiting for a smarter Siri experience from Apple for over a year is pointless, encouraging consumers to "just change the phone" to Pixel 10 instead, which will ship with these advanced AI camera capabilities immediately.

The Pixel 10 Pro can be identified by a temperature sensor on the rear, and the teaser video features the music of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg's "The Next Episode." Additionally, the video showcases the Pixel 10 Pro in the Moonstone color, hinting at a new color option for the device.

Aside from the Pixel 10, Google is also expected to launch the Pixel Watch 4 and the new Pixel Buds 2a alongside the device family. Leaks suggest that the design of the Pixel 10 will be similar to the Pixel 9, with only minor changes expected, apart from the new Tensor 5 hardware.

Interestingly, the new version of Siri is slated to launch in spring 2026, following Apple Intelligence's update to iOS 18. The Pixel 10's teaser video pokes fun at Apple's slow launch of Siri AI, further emphasizing the Pixel 10's readiness with advanced AI camera capabilities.

In summary, Google’s Pixel 10 teaser emphasizes new Gemini AI camera enhancements—Camera Coach and conversational editing—as a major innovation ready now, while taking a jab at Apple's postponed Siri AI rollout. Stay tuned for more updates on the Pixel 10 and its accompanying devices as the launch date approaches.
