Garmin's Venu X1 smartwatch showcases a fervent American spirit through an unexpected, fun-filled feature.

📣 Hey there! Garmin has been making some serious moves lately, launching a new subscription service and unveiling some cool gadgets like the Forerunner 570, 970, HRM 600, and most recently, the Venu X1 smartwatch.

📝 This smartwatch breaks the mold with its sleek, Apple Watch-inspired design featuring a wide, flat, square case, large AMOLED screen, and just two buttons. Navigation is similar to the Apple Watch, allowing you to scroll through 'glances' (features grouped into categories like Health, Training, etc.), and summons other features by pressing the top button.

💭 But here's the fun part—this watch isn't limited to fitness features alone. You can find a calculator, reminiscent of those vintage Casio watches, complete with a larger-than-life virtual keyboard suited for clumsy fingers like mine.

😎 Speaking of which, there's a secret button on the calculator feature that we Americans find especially delightful—the 'TIP' button. It calculates the ideal tip for you based on the bill amount, making tipping more convenient than ever. It even helps you figure out how much each person should chip in using the person counter on the right.

🤪 Now, I've got to admit, a tip calculator on a smartwatch isn't earth-shattering, but considering the large screen, it makes sense. If you're in the US, this feature is handier than a slice of apple pie, but if you're from, say, the UK, you might find it as odd as a sock in a sandbox.

⏳ I've only just started testing the watch, but it's the calculator's TIP button that's got me hooked, at least for now. There are plenty more features to check out, but you'll have to wait for the full review for all the juicy details!

🗣️ Kudos to Garmin for adding a touch of humor and American culture to the Venu X1's calculator function! Ah, the irony—a tipping calculator, specifically designed for Americans, is relatively less useful in countries like the UK, where tipping isn't as mandatory or precise. However, it does make the calculator feature more engaging and entertaining for us American tech enthusiasts! 💡

The Garmin Venu X1 smartwatch, with its Calculator feature, includes a 'TIP' button that calculates tips based on the bill amount, making it surprisingly engaging for American tech enthusiasts. This smartwatch, equipped with numerous 'gadgets' and smart-home devices, integrates technology in unexpected ways, offering more than just fitness features.
