Future Council: Damon Gameau's Doc Secures Major Distribution Deals

Together Films has secured significant distribution deals for Damon Gameau's documentary 'Future Council' in France, Italy, Canada, and the Netherlands. The film, which follows eight young environmental advocates pushing for change, has sparked international interest and will open the UK's Into Film Festival next month.

The documentary's success is attributed to its optimistic message in the climate space, according to Jess Reilly, head of sales & acquisitions at Together Films. The film, produced by Melanie Bonajo and Yanna Rüger, follows eight young advocates on a road trip across Europe, highlighting their efforts to drive ecological change.

Damon Gameau, the director, sees these international partnerships as a step towards empowering young people. He aims to give them hope, a voice, and influence in shaping their future. The global impact campaign launched extends the film's reach, targeting children aged 9-16. The campaign includes monthly meet-ups with experts, access to an AI database of ecological solutions, and voting rights for nature regeneration projects worldwide.

Distributed by Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand, 'Future Council' is produced by Australia's Regen Studios. With its positive message and empowering approach, the documentary is set to inspire and engage young audiences across the globe.
