Fluro Confirms Fresh additions to the Board, Enhancing the Revamped Executive Team

Fluro, a leading consumer lender, has made several strategic appointments to its Board and Executive Committee, strengthening its leadership team with industry experts in financial services, regulation, governance, and technology.

David Kenmir Appointed as Chair of the Board

David Kenmir, with an extensive background in financial services regulation, has been appointed as the Chair of Fluro's Board. Kenmir spent over a decade at the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the predecessor of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), including five years on its Board, Executive Committee, and Regulatory Policy Committee. He also spent 13 years as a partner at PwC, where he co-led their conduct and culture and licensing practices.

Kenmir expressed excitement about Fluro's innovative consumer lending and customer-centric approach, stating, "I am thrilled to join Fluro at this pivotal moment in its journey. The company's focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving innovation in the consumer lending space is truly inspiring."

Brian Brodie Joins as a Non-Executive Director

Brian Brodie, an industry specialist with a strong track record in financial services, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Fluro. Brodie has been CEO of several lenders, including Bevan Money, Freedom Finance, and HML. Additionally, he has experience as an adviser at technology investor Pollen Street Capital and held senior roles at RBS and Virgin Money.

Andrew Lawson, CEO of Fluro, welcomed Brodie to the Board, appreciating his wealth of expertise. "We are delighted to have Brian join our Board. His extensive experience in the lending industry and his deep understanding of technology will be invaluable as we look ahead to the next phase of Fluro's journey."

Other Appointments

In addition to Kenmir and Brodie, Fluro has appointed Graham Dodds as Chief Product and Technology Officer, Jenny Steven as Chief Operating Officer, and Micael Hoare as Chief Risk Officer. Hoare previously held the position of Chief Credit Officer for RateSetter.

These appointments are part of Fluro's refreshed Executive Committee, which also includes the appointment of Andrew Lawson as CEO, formerly being the Chief Product Officer at Zopa.

Fluro is looking ahead to the next phase of its journey as a leading consumer lender, with the new leadership team believing they have the right skills to support the company's next phase of development and growth. The company's focus remains on delivering outstanding customer experiences while driving innovation in the consumer lending space.
