Flight data management gets a boost as Acron and FDT team up for improvement

Acron Aviation and Flight Data Technologies (FDT) have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing flight data management for air operators. The collaboration will see Acron Aviation incorporate FDT's Quick Access Recorder (uQAR) into its offerings, providing operators with immediate access to processed flight data after landing.

Under the agreement, the dynamic processing of flight data will be enabled, streamlining maintenance, optimizing fuel utilization, and reducing operational costs while maintaining the highest safety standards.

The CEO of Flight Data Technologies, Alan Crawford, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that the uQAR offers exceptional performance and low operating cost, allowing airlines to improve flight data management, safety, and reduce operational expenses.

Mitesh Patel, the General Manager and SVP of Acron Aviation's Flight Data Intelligence, noted that the partnership enhances operational efficiency without compromising safety.

In a separate development, Acron Aviation's Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at the Bangkok Training Centre (BTC) received UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approval in August this year. The CAA endorsement highlights Acron Aviation's commitment to global safety standards and high-quality aviation training. UK CAA inspectors commended the BTC team for their professionalism, operational readiness, and technical excellence during the certification process.

The combined system will automatically capture flight data and transmit it upon landing, allowing for immediate delivery of actionable insights to flight safety teams, pilots, and maintenance personnel. This collaboration positions both companies as contenders for the Airport Technology Excellence Awards, which celebrate innovation, leadership, and impact in the aviation industry.

By showcasing their achievements in these prestigious awards, companies can elevate their industry profile and position themselves among top leaders driving aviation industry advancements. Acron Aviation's entry into the awards underscores its commitment to driving innovation and setting new standards in the aviation industry.
