FinXP Appoints Antoine Scerri as New CTO
FinXP, a fast-growing European PayTech company, has appointed Antoine Scerri as its new Chief Technology Officer. Scerri, with three decades of IT experience and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence, succeeds Carmelo Romano, who moves to a consultative role until retirement in 2024.
FinXP, licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority, offers a range of services including Dedicated IBAN Accounts, Cross Border Payments, and Card-Issuing. Recently, the company launched FinXP PLUS, a cross-border payment platform utilising Mastercard's network. Scerri, previously FinXP's Head of IT, is committed to enhancing these solutions and delivering exceptional client service in his new role. CEO Jens Podewski expressed enthusiasm for Scerri's leadership, while Romano, who contributed significantly to project management and client advisory, will continue to support the company in a consultative capacity until his retirement.
