Experience the Upgrade: LED Video Technology Elevating Game-Day Excitement at UCF
The University of Central Florida (UCF) has recently collaborated with SNA Displays for the installation of impressive LED video upgrades at its sports facilities. This includes the enhancement of the digital display network in 'The Bounce House,' UCF's football stadium, and the addition of a courtside direct-view LED at The Venue.
In 'The Bounce House,' the digital display network comprises 210 linear feet of LED ribbon, two 24-foot-long field-level tunnel displays, and eight vomitory displays. The field-level displays have been designed with a short return to match the stadium's architecture.
Meanwhile, The Venue at UCF, which hosts concerts, musical theatre, commencements, and other stage shows and sporting events, in addition to UCF's volleyball team, now features a courtside direct-view LED that is 15.4x27.6-foot wide and processes more than a million pixels. This state-of-the-art LED display is made from SNA Displays' 6mm BOLD Interior line of video technology.
The installation services for The Venue at UCF's vomitories and field tunnel displays were provided by Bumgarner Construction, while Phoenix Signs handled the installation of the field-level ribbons.
Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided comprehensive design, procurement, and construction administration services for UCF. They selected SNA Displays to manufacture and supply the LED video upgrades at UCF. SNA Displays also provided LED ribbons, field-level displays for the football stadium, and a video scoreboard for the volleyball venue at UCF.
Interestingly, UCF and SNA Displays have previously worked together to retrofit the LED videoboard at UCF's baseball field, John Euliano Park. The new LED display assets in 'The Bounce House' are built with 10 mm EMPIRE Exterior video technology.
The Venue at UCF's LED display systems are managed by a multifaceted video management tool, Ross Video's XPression Tessera. This tool ensures seamless control and management of the LED displays, enhancing the overall viewing experience for spectators.
The Venue at UCF is located between Addition Financial Arena and John Euliano Park, making it a central hub for sports and entertainment events at UCF. It also serves as a practice facility for UCF's basketball teams.
With these upgrades, UCF continues to invest in state-of-the-art technology to enhance the fan experience at its sports venues. The new LED displays promise to deliver stunning visuals and immersive experiences for all who attend events at The Venue and The Bounce House.
