Experience the Amplified LED Video Technology Transforming Game Day Experiences at UCF
The University of Central Florida (UCF) has been enhancing its sports venues with state-of-the-art LED display technology, transforming the fan experience at games and events. UCF's football stadium, known as FBC Mortgage Stadium, is not the only venue receiving these upgrades. The Venue at UCF, located between Addition Financial Arena and John Euliano Park, has also undergone significant changes. SNA Displays, a leading company in LED technology, is responsible for manufacturing and supplying the LED video enhancements for UCF's venues. The Venue at UCF's courtside direct-view LED, measuring 15.4x27.6 feet, is made from SNA Displays' 6mm BOLD Interior line of video technology. The Venue at UCF, which can accommodate 3,000 general admission guests and serves as a practice facility for UCF's basketball teams, hosts more than just sports events. It also plays host to concerts, musical theatre, commencements, and other stage shows. Anthony James Partners (AJP) served as the owner's representative and technology consultant for the project, providing comprehensive design, procurement, and construction administration services for UCF. Phoenix Signs was responsible for the installation services of The Venue at UCF's direct-view LED. Meanwhile, at The Bounce House, home to the UCF Knights' football team, a digital display network has been installed. This network includes 210 linear feet of LED ribbon, two 24-foot-long field-level tunnel displays, eight 3.2x10.6-foot vomitory displays, and two field-level displays with a short return to match the stadium's architecture. The Bounce House, as it is commonly known, seats more than 44,000 spectators. In addition to the football stadium, UCF has also installed LED ribbons and field-level displays for The Bounce House. The University has yet to upgrade The Venue at UCF with LED ribbons, field-level displays, or a video scoreboard. However, the Venue at UCF has not been supplied by SNA Displays for its LED video enhancements, and its LED display assets were not built with 10 mm EMPIRE Exterior video technology. Previously, SNA Displays and UCF worked together to retrofit the LED videoboard at UCF's baseball field, John Euliano Park. Meanwhile, Watchfire Signs was the company that manufactured the new LED display technology for the University's volleyball arena. In summary, UCF has been improving its sports venues with LED display technology, with SNA Displays playing a significant role in these upgrades. The Venue at UCF and The Bounce House have both received new LED displays, transforming the fan experience at events held in these venues.
