Expansion of Fennica Gaming in Europe, Securing Business-to-Business License in Greece
Finnish gaming solutions provider Fennica Gaming has successfully acquired a Business-to-Business (B2B) license in Greece. This significant development is expected to broaden the company's footprint in Europe as it partners with local operators in the Mediterranean country.
The license, issued by the Hellenic Gambling Commission (HGC), encompasses a manufacturer license, an Online Casino license, and a VLT license, allowing Fennica Gaming to provide a wide array of gaming services to licensed Greek operators.
Having secured this comprehensive set of licenses, Fennica Gaming can now tap into the dynamic multi-vertical gaming market in Greece, aiming to drive growth and deliver entertaining yet responsible gaming experiences to players.
The Greek license marks a strategic step in Fennica Gaming's global expansion, following recent approvals in Ontario, Canada, and Sweden. The company, a subsidiary of Veikkaus, aims to replicate this success in other regulated European markets.
Prior to this expansion, Fennica Gaming had already established itself as a trusted and reliable B2B supplier to the gaming industry. With its entry into Greece, the company has added another regulated market to its growing portfolio, currently comprising 15 markets worldwide.
Timo Kiiskinen, Managing Director of Fennica Gaming, expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating that this achievement is a testament to the company's commitment to expanding its presence in regulated European markets. He also expressed their eagerness to support partners in delivering engaging gaming experiences to Greek players.
Established in 2022, Fennica Gaming has grown exponentially and now boasts an extensive portfolio of games, including Portal Heroes and Fruttis 2, which it can offer to Greek operators to boost their offerings. The company has also recently acquired a local game studio, adding over 200 game titles to its offering.
Fennica Gaming's new venture in Greece, fueled by the comprehensive set of licenses from the Hellenic Gambling Commission, allowing them to operate in multiple verticals, aims to deliver responsible gambling experiences to players using advanced technology. As Fennica Gaming expands globally, they plan to replicate this success in other regulated European markets, further solidifying their position as a trusted and reliable B2B supplier in the gambling industry.
