The new KOS 5.5 offers a host of improvements and simplifications, making it easier for system administrators and musicians alike. One of the key features is the faster setup and standalone functionality that KOS 5.5 provides.

With KOS 5.5, system administrators can now remotely save and load mix presets on KLANG Kontrollers or Apps in Personal Mode. This feature streamlines the workflow, allowing for a smoother and more efficient setup process.

The new OS also simplifies and significantly reduces setup time for KLANG's second-generation devices, including the Konductor, Kontroller, Vokal, and DiGiCo's DMI-KLANG card. This means that users can get up and running with their personal mixing systems quicker than ever before.

Another significant improvement is the automatic patching of Dante channels to a KLANG mix directly from KLANG App and Kontroller. This feature eliminates the need for Dante Controller, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly.

KOS 5.5 also includes a dedicated section for system notifications within the KLANG App. This section includes a history feature for scrolling through past notifications, providing a clear overview of any system changes or updates.

The new OS also simplifies the process of identifying devices that require setup for a show. Users can now easily oversee connected Kontrollers and Apps, identifying devices that need attention.

In addition, KOS 5.5 enables musicians to easily save and load mix presets on Kontrollers or Apps in Personal Mode. This feature allows for a more personalised and flexible mixing experience.

KLANG devices can now format USB drives and copy their internal software version for updating other devices. This makes the process of updating multiple devices quicker and more efficient.

The new OS also includes a feature for formatting USB drives and updating KLANG devices within the KLANG App. This feature streamlines the process, making it easier for users to keep their devices up-to-date.

The new Dante Follow update simplifies the separation of Dante and Control networks via VLANs on KLANG processors and Kontrollers. This improvement enhances Dante network stability and latency headroom.

Lastly, the new OS introduces user-friendly Root-intensity EQ Presets, enabling quicker setup of a personal mixing system. These presets provide a solid starting point for users, making it easier to achieve a great sounding mix.

KLANG Technologies' newest operating system, KOS 5.5, is set to revolutionise the way users approach personal mixing systems. With its host of improvements and simplifications, KOS 5.5 is a must-have update for any KLANG user.

DiGiCo console integration will come to life with DiGiCo's newest software release, V1742. This integration further enhances the flexibility and functionality of KLANG's personal mixing solutions.
