Emovis Enhances A-25 Highway Tolling in Quebec for 2025

Emovis, a leading provider of toll-based mobility solutions, is set to enhance its infrastructure in Quebec by expanding its operations on the A-25 highway. The expansion, scheduled for 2025, aims to improve user experience and reinforce the overall efficiency of the tolling network.

The A-25, which stretches across the Lanaudière region and includes a crucial toll bridge connecting Montreal and Laval, has seen over 19 million motorists cross it in 2023. With 84.4% of users registered in the system, the highway's tolling operations are set for an upgrade to support the growing number of users.

Emovis, which first deployed an all-electronic tolling (AET) solution on the A-25 in 2017, is preparing for a comprehensive system upgrade. This upgrade will involve the installation of new AET equipment, aiming to optimise operational performance and enhance the user experience.

The expansion and upgrade of the A-25 tolling system by Emovis are expected to improve efficiency and streamline operations for the thousands of motorists using the highway daily. The project aligns with Emovis' commitment to enhancing toll-based mobility solutions and is part of the company's ongoing expansion in Canada.
